Hotel is a long way from the centre so not ideal if you want to see the main sights, but ideal if you want to have a leisurely break and stay in western, west berlin.

The room I had, a Junior Suite, was spacious but the carpet showed many stains and looked unkempt, not ideal for cleanliness. The hotel is situated outside the city center, but I took the S-Bahn and reached Alexanderplatz in about 40 minutes, convenient. Unfortunately, the dining experiences weren't great. I had a couple of disappointing experiences at the restaurant and bistro. Staff responsiveness varied. While some were friendly, one receptionist seemed unwelcoming. The location could improve its dining options and quality. The hotel needs to enhance the upkeep, especially concerning the carpets in the rooms. Despite these issues, the price seemed fair considering the distance from the center. I'd recommend a thorough cleaning and better dining. Hopefully, these areas can be addressed in the future.

the breakfast was extensive and there was lots of good food. a nice size and functional room with great shower, the staff was efficient. the location was perfect and convenient, within easy walking distance of havelwelle.

The hotel was great and I would highly recommend it. I was in town on business, but would love to have had the time to take full advantage of the spa facility. There is a full gym, nice pool and space facility - I only had time in to use the gym. Next time I am in Berlin I will choose this hotel again.
